Viking Market (800-1050 AD)

At Ravnebjerg, ie. "Raven Hill", you can get a feel of daily life at a marketplace from the Viking Age. You can meet the smith by his forge, smell the stew being cooked by the “Raven women” over the fire – and perhaps even have a taste. You can peer into the tents and into the chests and chat to the staff and schoolchildren while they are busy with the day’s chores.

Ragnebjerg is primarily an educational area. Visitors are welcome to visit the children working here. They will be pleased to tell about their stay and their activities.

Throughout the high season visitors can meet the Vikings and help to chop greens, make bread, churn butter, cut wood, work the bellows and so on.
